Natural Flint Rock    Cleaned Flint Rock
Flint is a kind of stone which occurs naturally in many places world wide.
Flint is easier to knapp (to shape) than a lot of other kinds of stone, and it will hold
a sharp edge longer, so most of the tools that were made by the Native Americans
were made out of flint. It's not as good as obsidian, but it is easier to get.

Knapping Bear  Flint Strike  Fire Starting
Flint will also spark hot enough to start dry tinder for a fire
if struck by any piece iron or stone containing iron ore.
